Congratulations to id graphics, located on Main Street, celebrating 20 years in business, and recognized today with a cake ceremony by the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce (PA)

For the past two decades, Corey and Monica Meckes have not only built a successful business, but they have also invested their time talent into strengthening our entire community. With kindness and creativity, they have helped countless local businesses and organizations develop their brands, design logos, create marketing materials, and tell their stories in ways that make a lasting impact.

Beyond their business, Corey and Monica have generously served in leadership roles and volunteered with numerous local organizations, always working to support economic growth, community development, and the success of fellow businesses throughout our region.

Please join us in congratulating Corey, Monica, and the entire id graphics team on this remarkable milestone. Here's to the next 20 years of creativity, innovation, and community leadership!

If you are a business owner or live in the borough, we encourage you to hang patriotic bunting or flags for the upcoming celebration of America 250!

Main Street will come to life soon with the flags waving and the Veteran Banners hung. The flowers will be blooming soon and filling the planters with color.

This weekend we kickoff the summer celebrations with the Bloody Run Canoe & Kayak Classic on Saturday and then the Memorial Day parade will follow on May 25th. If you would like to enter a float or having a walking/marching group in the parade please contact the number below. Those that laid their life down for us, deserve our time and honor. Please consider joining in or just come and line the streets and show your patriotism and wave a flag!

At 7 am this morning, a small crew of three started taking out the old dirt from the main street planters and by 8 am a different small group of four, added the new dirt. Shortly thereafter, the plants were being delivered and strategically placed. By 10:30, 17 EHS students and two advisors plus the new ambulance chief and her adorable daughters, helped plant the new spring flowers and got them all watered.

Lori is always a blessing from True Value and helps with handing out buckets and brooms and whatever else we need. You are appreciated! Townspeople go by and honk their horns. People walk by and say 'howdy' or 'its looking good'. I pause and think of how grateful I am to live in a small town.

Shortly after 11:30, twenty-three of us made our way to Best Way for lunch and greatly appreciated the service and smiles! Sheena and Tammy - I owe you big =)

If you know any of these kids or adults that took a bit of their time to serve their community, would you please say thank you. Please choose to be kind. They showed up because they wanted to and I for one greatly appreciate every single one of them that helped.

Soon the flowers will fill the planters and the street will be bursting with color. And for those young kids that came this morning and gave of their time, I hope it gives them a little bit of pride in knowing they had a hand in it all. ๐ŸŒผ ๐ŸŒธ ๐Ÿต

What a pleasure it was to present Jade Colledge with a House citation to mark her 1,000th point in her high school basketball career. The Everett Area School District - PA senior recorded 22 points against West Branch in February to surpass the 1,000 point-mark. Way to go, Jade!
