So grateful for your support and confidence in BEAM!

The newly formed BEAM Center for Nonprofits is very grateful to the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation for its three-year grant totaling $225,000 in support of integration and ongoing operating costs for the merger of Leadership Council for Nonprofits, OneSource Center for Nonprofit Excellence, and Social Venture Partners Cincinnati.

This investment will help BEAM successfully bring three organizations together and build the systems, capacity, and foundation we need to deliver greater value to nonprofits across our region.

We’re especially grateful for the Foundation’s confidence in what BEAM is building and what we can accomplish together for nonprofits across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

This grant complements previously announced merger funds from Interact for Health and SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration.

Yesterday, a new group of Greater Cincinnati nonprofit leaders gathered at Camp Joy to begin an exciting learning journey together...and what a journey it will be!

The EXCEL Class of 2027 brings together talented, passionate leaders who are committed not only to strengthening their own leadership skills, but to making an even greater impact in the organizations and communities they serve.

Over the months ahead, they’ll explore leadership, nonprofit management, collaboration, and the many challenges and opportunities facing our sector. But EXCEL is about more than professional development. It’s about building a stronger network of leaders who understand that the future of Greater Cincinnati’s nonprofit community is stronger when we learn, lead, and grow together.

We can’t wait to see where this remarkable group goes and the difference they’ll make along the way!

Still smiling from the big announcement! 😁

Nearly two weeks after OneSource Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Leadership Council, and Social Venture Partners Cincinnati merged to form BEAM Center for Nonprofits, we're still smiling and we're looking back at some of the smiles from a very special day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate and for the warm welcome you've given BEAM.

Building Capacity / Focusing Impact is the tagline of our new organization because it reflects what BEAM Center for Nonprofits is here to help nonprofits do.

But what does focusing impact actually mean?

It starts with helping nonprofits become better at the many things it takes to run a strong organization. And it finishes with a nonprofit better equipped to deliver on its mission.

Building Capacity / Focusing Impact is the tagline of our new organization because it reflects what BEAM Center for Nonprofits is here to help nonprofits do.

But what does building capacity actually mean?

It starts with strengthening the organizations doing important work in our communities. And it finishes when those organizations are better equipped to deliver on their missions.

Creating our new organization, BEAM Center for Nonprofits, took a shared vision and the support and expertise of many people along the way.

We’re especially grateful to Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio for the integral role they played in helping bring BEAM to life. Their team provided critical legal guidance throughout the merger of OneSource Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Leadership Council for Nonprofits, and Social Venture Partners Cincinnati.

Our sincere thanks to the PBPO staff attorneys and attorney volunteers who contributed their expertise to this work, including Michael Moeddel of Taft Law, Edward Rivin and Mark Sims of KMK Law, Joe Dehner of JDLAW LLC and so many others.

Thank you, Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio, for helping make BEAM possible and for all you do to strengthen nonprofits in our community.

One week ago, we announced that OneSource is now part of BEAM Center for Nonprofits.

OneSource, along with Leadership Council for Nonprofits and Social Venture Partners Cincinnati, shared a vision: a stronger nonprofit community, supported by stronger organizations, stronger leaders, meaningful connections, and greater access to resources and expertise.

We also recognized that our strengths were complementary—and that together, we could create more value for nonprofits than we could separately.

• Professional consulting & operational support
• Leadership development & training
• Peer networks & connections
• Strategic investments
• Philanthropic partnerships
• Common Good Store, resources & tools

One week in, we're excited about what we're building together and what it will make possible for the nonprofits that strengthen our community.
