Thank you, everyone who came out today and attended one of the Union meetings. Congratulations to the newly hired employees who got sworn in at the meetings. Next meeting will be in December, date TBD.

UAW 863 Retirees. Tomorrow September 1 will be our annual picnic which starts at NOON.

The UAW Trust will speak at the meeting about 2027 healthcare benefits (at least one improvement).

The UAW 863 Executive Board and Recreation Committee will be cooking the burgers and dogs. Cake, brownies will be provided thanks to Sharefax Credit Union. We will again have free ice cream from Johnies Ice Cream.

Hello, here is a list of everyone running in the International Executive Board race this fall. Ballots will begin to mail out the week of August 21st. Please take the time and do your part to vote. Some of these people on the ballot might do gate visits during shift changes. Stop and talk to them and ask questions, about their experience and stance on issues.

UAW 863 Retirees:
The UAW Trust will once again offering Trust members the opportunity to learn about their 2027 benefits through a series of webinars and teleconference sessions. An invitation postcard (see attached) began mailing to all members on Tuesday, July 14.

Members can RSVP for a session through a toll-free hotline or sign up online.

The informational sessions, available by phone or webcast, allow members to hear (and view, if joined via virtual webcast) a presentation on the 2027 benefits, and ask questions to a live Trust representative.

Meetings begin on Tuesday, August 4, and will be held throughout the month of August. Additionally, a recorded session will be available on the uawtrustevents.com website after August 4.
