Eveleth/Mt. Iron Lions will be serving Pan Cakes during Merrit Days in Mt. Iron on Saturday August 13th from 9:00 to noon at the seniors building.

The Eveleth/Mt. Iron Lions Club is now 100 years old, the third oldest in the state. We are always looking for new members to join us. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Eveleth Elks Club and the 4th Tuesday at United in Christ Lutheran Church in Eveleth at 5:30. Please join us

Please join us for breakfast on August 14th from 9-12 noon at the Mt Iron Senior Citizen Center. The cost is $8 and includes sausage, pancakes, coffee and juice. Pancakes are all you can eat. This is in conjunction with Merritt Days. Proceeds will be used for scholarships. See you there!

Was my pleasure to present a check for $1850 to NE Jr. Curling Association Directors Kamara Potts and Dennis Jorgensen from the Eveleth-Mt. Iron Lions Club. This money was raised during the last couple Jr. Bonspiels and is to be used for the Jr. program at Curl Mesabi. I hope to see the Jr. program continue to grow for years to come.
