Happy Easter! Easter in our Vincentian Tradition is that we become “Easter people”.

St. Vincent used to celebrate Easter according to the rules of Christianity. And he asked his missionaries to do the same, recommending that their actions and works should always be diffused by the spirit of God (cf. CCD 12:93).

To celebrate Easter in this sense would mean doing good for others, especially the most vulnerable…we strive to be an Easter people; to do Easter as those who encounter light and want, in turn, to be a light that encourages, uplifts and guides.

Hanging Canvas Literacy Event with Room H
📖 The book: What Type of Artist Are You? by Amy McClave
💬 The family engagement invitation: Children and families were invited to paint on canvases that were suspended from the ceiling. Because the canvas could shift and respond to their touch, they naturally adjusted their movements, problem-solved, and explored how their actions make marks.

Each student took home a copy of the book! Thank you to the Forward Together Grant for making this possible.
