Healthy Communities Partnership In summer of 2012, the Healthy Communities Partnership (HCP) was developed through a collaboration focused on improving health in Southwest Indiana.

The Healthy Communities Partnership (HCP) aims to create policy, systems and environmental changes that address childhood obesity by making the healthiest choice the easiest choice. Our Vision is that today's youth live longer, healthier lives. HCP has a goal to decrease the number of children in Vanderburgh County that are considered overweight or obese by 20% by 2020. omote the implementation of policies that increase healthy eating and physical activity withing day care, pre-school, school, after school and community settings.
**Promote the development of county-wide access that supports healthy eating and active living for children and their families
**Increase community engagement to motivate healthy eating and active living for children and their families.
