The Evansville Metropolitan Planning Organization (EMPO) is conducting a Regional Transit Feasibility Study to explore ways to improve transit service and efficiency throughout the Evansville Metropolitan Planning Area.

Meet Sara Worstell, Executive Director of Southwest Indiana Workforce Board!

For more than 16 years, Sara has dedicated her career to breaking down barriers to employment and connecting individuals with the resources they need to achieve self-sufficiency. Under her leadership, Southwest Indiana Workforce has expanded its impact through strategic rebranding, stronger community partnerships, and diversified funding opportunities.

One of the initiatives closest to Sara’s heart is the Neighborhood Navigators program, which meets people where they are and helps connect them to critical services and career opportunities throughout the region’s nine counties.
