Southern Indiana Dance Marathon SIDM is an energetic, dedicated, and inspiring student-run organization supporting Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Everything we do is For The Kids. Southern Indiana Dance Marathon is student-run philanthropic organization, raising funds and awareness for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. The success of our event relies on the generous support of our students, alumni, the University of Southern Indiana, the Evansville community, and corporate sponsors. Most importantly, our marathon would not be complete without the involvement and support from Riley families themselves. Year round fundraising and planning culminates in an 8-hour event including dancing, games, and Riley family stories of inspiration. Dance marathons are hosted at the collegiate and high school levels across the state. Dancer participates remain on their feet for the entire event in support of the Riley families. We dance for those who can't, and hope you will join us in our mission.

September 30th is NICU awareness day and today, we’re shining a light on the tiniest of fighters.

Meet Katie, one of our incredible Riley Kids. Katie had an AVSD heart defect and received prenatal care at Riley’s.

For NICU families, the journey can be filled with uncertainty, long days and countless moments of hope.

At SIDM, we’re proud to stand with Riley Children’s Health and the families who have experienced the NICU journey.

Every dollar we raise helps provide critical care, support families and give kids like Katie the chance to keep growing, dreaming and dancing.

Today, we celebrate Katie and every tiny fighter who has shown us just how strong they can be.

A few weeks ago while we were busy pushing fundraising for Riley, one of our families had a unique opportunity at Purdue! Benaiah was selected by the Riley Children’s Foundation as the Kid Captain for the Purdue football game. His story was shared with thousands of people at the football game, bringing awareness to lissencephaly and his family’s journey with this condition. We are so thankful for Purdue and the Riley Children’s Foundation for celebrating Benaiah and his family ❤️

we wanted to do our OWN take on TKE of the week this Sunday…our TKEs of the week are Nathan and Dillon who have done the most to support our Riley kids. They raised $115 for our push day and we couldn’t be more grateful for their involvement ❤️

TKE raises money for St. Jude as well, but these two took time out of their days to bring a bit of joy to our event. we support pediatric healthcare as a whole when we support one another! thank you Nathan and Dillon!

What a day! Thanks to everyone who showed up, donated, shared and helped us make a difference for the kids! ❤️

Together, we raised an incredible $3,264.59 for SIDM! 🤩
