Evansville Goodwill 16 Stores. 3 States. 1 Mission. Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is a a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Evansville, Indiana.

We operate three Goodwill stores and donation sites in Evansville, as well as a mobile truck site in Newburgh. The Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. office hours are 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Store hours are listed below. Most donation sites are open until 8:00 p.m. We operate additional stores and donation sites in Vincennes, Washington, Princeton, Boonville, Tell City, and Jasper, Indiana; Owensboro, Henderson, and Madisonville, Kentucky; and Mount Vernon, Illinois. Our Employment Services Offices are located in Evansville, Princeton, Vincennes, and Washington, Indiana; and in Owensboro, Henderson and Madisonville, KY. We have Processing Centers located in Evansville and Vincennes, Indiana and Owensboro, KY.

Sharing the Good in Goodwill! 💙
After 14 years as a stay-at-home mom, Krystal came to Goodwill as a volunteer ready to rebuild her confidence and reenter the workforce. What started as a volunteer opportunity quickly became a career filled with growth. She became a part-time Sales Associate, where she strengthened her time management and customer service skills, and continued developing through GEM, GROW, ELEVATE, and other People Development opportunities. As her confidence grew, so did her career. In less than three years, she advanced from volunteer to Sales Associate, Training Coordinator, and now Employee Development Coordinator. Along the way, she discovered a passion for communication, leadership, and helping others reach their own potential. Today, she is using the skills and confidence she gained to help develop other team members, creating a full-circle moment that she is especially proud of. Her journey is a reminder of what can happen when someone is given an opportunity, encouraged to grow, and given the chance to discover what they are capable of.

We asked our People Development Team what some of their wins from last week were, here's what they said!
🔷 Krystal, Employee Development Coordinator: "I found out what my Clifton strengths are, plus my working genius. This will help me recognize my own strengths and areas for growth. I also know when and where to turn for support from my team, when needed."
🔷 Douglas, Employee Development Coordinator: "I haven't taken power point class since high school and when we became EDC's we had to learn how to do presentations as part of our training and I passed the test for power points. Since then, I've done two power point presentations and have enjoyed doing them. My biggest fear was public speaking, but Joss has helped me break that wall down."
🔷 Laura, Employee Development Coordinator: "My computer skills are not the best, but I passed my Microsoft Excel test last week with a 95%!"
🔷 Katie, Employee Development Coordinator: "I discovered what my Clifton Strengths and Working Genius's are. I felt like this is a win for me to see how I can contribute to my team, other individuals, and where my areas for improvement are and how I can best feel supported by my team. I feel more confident in presenting to individuals to teach future workshops. This is all showing how I can grow both professionally and personally. I also passed my Microsoft Excel assessment!"
🔷 Joss, Director of People Development: One of my biggest wins this week has honestly been seeing the growth of our EDCs. I am so proud of how much they have stepped into their roles, challenged themselves, and continued building their confidence as trainers and coaches. I'm also incredibly grateful for our Directors of Retail Operations and the way they have supported this transition, shared their knowledge, and helped create space for the EDCs to learn and grow. Seeing that partnership come together has been such a meaningful win for me."
