Tri-State Food Bank is located in Evansville, Indiana and supplies emergency foods to charitable organizations in 33 counties of Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois. We serve 9 counties in southwest Indiana, 8 counties in northwest Kentucky and 16 counties in southern Illinois. We sponsor special programs for children and the elderly and we serve our network of charitable agencies. We safely collect, store and distribute essential foods and other provisions to individuals and children in need of assistance.

Did you know that 38% of food that is produced goes unsold or uneaten? Over 90 billion pounds of food goes to waste every year—perfectly good, safe-to-eat food that gets thrown away because of things like: overproduction, upcoming sell-by dates, oddly shaped fruits and veggies, mislabelled packages, or food damaged in transport.

As a partner of Feeding America, Tri-State Food Bank is able to participate in grocery rescue programs and turn food waste into resources for our neighbors.

This week, fries are fighting hunger! This week McDonald's locations in these counties are donating 10% of a-la-carte fry sales to Tri-State Food Bank. Funds raised from fry sales will stay right in the tri-state and help neighbors in our service area who lack access to the nutrition they need. Lend a hand and grab some fries this week!

Thank you to Aurora Evansville for being a Tri-State Food Bank partner! Aurora is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the homeless and near homeless in the Greater Evansville, Indiana area. Each year, they serve over 500 individuals: men, women, children, those with disabilities, and the re-entry population. Thank you for fighting hunger with Tri-State Food Bank!

🚚 Tri-State Food Bank is hosting THREE Mobile Food Distributions in October! 🚚

The TSFB truck will be distributing boxes of shelf-stable groceries with vegetables and fruit for our neighbors at these locations. No ID is required, but you will be asked for your zip code and how many people are in your household. Distributions are scheduled for two hours, or while supplies last. You do not need to live in city or county hosting these distributions to participate.

PLEASE NOTE: The Evansville, IN distribution at Carriage house is a walk-up event.

We began Hunger Action Month with the Indiana Hunger Summit and ended with the Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse shining orange last night in observance of Hunger Action Day.

We asked you to take action in September, and the tri-state responded. Individuals and groups from Old National Bank, McGowen Insurance, Kiwanis and Civitan club spent 552 hours volunteering. BFit Gym + Fitness collected 296 pounds of high-protein food donations. And many more of you contacted your legislators to advocate on behalf of our neighbors. We're so grateful for the ways the tri-state responded to Hunger Action Month and excited to keep fighting hunger alongside you!
