Lisa came to the Food Co-op hoping to find something she had gone without for months.

A doctor-recommended supplement that could help ease her joint pain had simply been out of reach financially.

Then one day, she spotted it on the shelf.

What may have seemed like a small moment to others meant everything to her.

Later, as she told her grandsons about finding it, tears filled her eyes. She shared how she had prayed, trusted God, and watched Him provide in a way she never expected.

A huge thank you to First Christian Church’s VBS for inviting us to be part of an incredible week!

Each day, students learned about a different area of ministry at the Evansville Christian Life Center and discovered what it means to put love into action by caring for their neighbors. From supporting Pregnancy Services and Family Care Services to helping stock the Food Co-Op and strengthening the GAIN Initiative, these young people showed that no act of kindness is too small.

Together, they collected 258 donated items and gave more than $1,000 in cash donations to support their neighbors.

Thank you, FCC VBS, for allowing us to share our mission and inspire the next generation to serve their community with compassion, generosity, and purpose. We are so grateful for your partnership and the difference you are making in the lives of our neighbors. ❤️

A huge thank you to FCC Evansville’s VBS for inviting us to be part of an incredible week!

When David and Jeanie joined the Food Co-Op, they were in the middle of building a new home with Habitat for Humanity and a new chapter in their lives. The savings they found through the Co-Op helped stretch their budget and gave them the freedom to focus on their future instead of worrying about every dollar.

But what made David and Jeanie special wasn't just what they received. It was what they gave. They encouraged other members, shared practical tips, and constantly looked for ways to help their neighbors succeed, too.

Because restoration isn't just about having your own needs met. It's about gaining the stability and confidence to lift others up along the way.

David and Jeanie were restored for more, and their impact continues to be felt long after their time in the Co-Op ended.
