Today is Purdue Day Of Giving--a day of collecting $10 gifts that will stay right here in Vanderburgh County! This year any donation will go towards 4-H trips, camps, and experiences. Happy Purdue Day of Giving! Here in Vanderburgh County we are excited to raise funds that will support our Vanderburgh County community!

This year all gifts will be used towards mental health programming and 4-H trips and experiences. When donating, you can choose if you would like your gift to go to 4-H or other extension programs.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with their families! Don't put those egg-hunting baskets away yet, though!

Our next meeting will be Wednesday April 15th. We will be meeting in the Industrial Building at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center. This building is the open-air building near the Activities Center where we usually meet.

The Vanderburgh County 4-H Junior Leaders will be hosting an Easter Egg-stravaganza for us and we are so excited! They have lots of fun planned so we hope everyone can join us.

We celebrated National Nutrition Month at our Mini 4-H Meeting last night and it was so much fun! 🤩

Some fun activities:
-We played a game of Superman Says 🦸🏽‍♂️ where we talked about our protein foods and how they make us strong.
-We made yogurt parfaits and members voted on their favorite topping. Strawberries 🍓 were the big winner with bananas 🍌 coming in a close second.
-We learned about grains like wheat 🌾 corn 🌽 and rice 🍚 and talked about how they give us energy 🏃🏼‍♀️
-We talked about the many different colors of fruits 🍎 and vegetables 🥕 and worked as a group to think of as many that we could have each color of the rainbow. 🌈

Hope everyone has a great Spring Break and we will see you in April! ☀️🍀

Join us as Vanderburgh County Mini 4-H celebrates National Nutrition Month with a night full of fun!

Kids will enjoy:
