Cub Scout Open House was a success, and we couldn't be happier with the turnout! We had a great group of kids and families come out to see what Pack 3383 is all about.
From tying knots and painting rocks to playing games and making new friends, there was plenty of fun to go around! 🪢🎨🎲

A big thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening such a great one. We loved meeting all the new faces and sharing a little bit of the Cub Scout experience with you!

📣🐻 The word is getting out!
Some of our Cub Scouts have been helping spread the word about Pack 3383 by handing out flyers at some local school open houses. We love seeing our scouts share their excitement and invite others to join in the adventure!

The safety and well-being of our youth is our highest priority.

The Boy Scouts of America requires Safeguarding Youth Training (formerly Youth Protection Training) for registered adult leaders and strongly encourages parents and guardians to complete the training as well.

Whether you're a current volunteer, interested in helping with Pack 3383 or Troop 383, or simply want to learn more about Scouting's commitment to youth safety, we encourage you to take a few moments to complete the training.

🌲🏕️ Pack 3383 families are invited to join Troop 383 this weekend at Indian-Celina Lakes Recreation Area for a fun outdoor camping trip! 🙂

📍 Friday Plan:
🕠 Meet at church: 5:30 PM
🚐 Depart: 6:00 PM
🏕️ Arrive at campsite around 8:00 PM

Troop 383 scouts will be completing a 20-mile hike on Saturday as part of their Summit preparation and physical fitness goals. Pack scouts are welcome to attend and participate at the level that works best for their family and scout. 🌄🥾

Recommended items to bring:
✅ Sleeping bag & sleeping pad
✅ Tent
✅ Comfortable clothing & extra socks
✅ Daypack, snacks & water
✅ Rain-ready gear

🦟 Permethrin spray on clothing is also recommended to help protect against ticks.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, spend time together, and experience a fun weekend of scouting adventure! 🌲🔥
