Praise Ensembles

Praise Ensembles is looking for students who are interested in participating in a possible future Band class.
Many years ago, Praise Ensembles had a Band and we would love to bring it back!

Our amazing orchestra instructor, Mr. Wade Coley, has many years of experience teaching instrumental music and has offered to teach Band at Praise Ensembles if we have enough interest.
A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory Institute of Music of the John Hopkins University in Maryland, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in trombone performance and music education.
He plays most instruments, has directed church choirs, coached Honors Band and All-State sectionals, freelanced on trombone, and has been active as a composer and arranger.

Please fill out this Google form to indicate your students' ages, instrument, and experience levels.
Beginners and experienced players are welcome!

Praise Ensembles will resume classes this Friday, January 16th.
We are thrilled to begin our spring semester at our new host church, Vann Avenue Baptist Church.
We are incredibly grateful for their warm welcome and generosity in opening their facility to our co-op community.
Please join us in praying for this new partnership and extending our thanks to the leadership and congregation of Vann Avenue. We look forward to all that God has planned for Praise Ensembles in this new season!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Praise Ensembles families!
As we reflect on all we are thankful for this week, we are grateful that we are blessed with a special place of community--where we learn together, encourage one another, and grow in fellowship as a co-op family.

We offer many art classes taught by our experienced instructors. Our classes are designed to introduce students to a variety of artistic mediums, techniques, and art styles, while encouraging creativity and art appreciation.
Our students get the opportunity to use their God given talents to create many hands on projects throughout the year.

We love to see what students in our classes have been learning this semester.
Students in our Culinary Arts classes have made many delicious treats so far: apple cider donuts, apple pie, sticky buns, and eclair cake are just a few!
From measuring ingredients to mastering new recipes, they're learning valuable life skills one delicious dish at a time.
We love seeing these students' creativity in the kitchen!

Fall is here and we are back to school!
This year we welcome both returning students and many new families to Praise Ensembles.
It's a joy to see friendships grow, students learning, and God's hand at work in every class.

As we begin another exciting school year at Praise Ensembles, we ask for prayer that we would glorify God in everything we do.

We thank You, Lord, for the opportunity to offer classes to so many students in our homeschool community.
We thank You for our instructors who pour into our students each week and teach them diligently.
We thank You for all the families who are a part of Praise, and we pray for friendships to be formed and encouragement to be given. Equip us, guide us, and direct us to do Your will. We love You and praise You as the one true and living God.
