Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete the Evansville Police Department's Community Survey.

Your feedback will help us better understand how our community views policing in Evansville and allows us to evaluate the services we provide (CALEA Standard 45.2.2). The information gathered through this survey helps guide department priorities, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen our efforts to provide responsive, professional, and compassionate police services.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary, and you may skip any question you do not wish to answer or are unsure about. Every response is valuable, and we appreciate your willingness to share your thoughts and experiences. All responses are anonymous and confidential.

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀.

We have recently received reports of individuals receiving text messages claiming to be from the Vanderburgh County Clerk’s Office regarding court matters or payments owed. These messages often include a link directing recipients to submit payment information.

Please be advised:
• The Clerk’s Office does not send text messages requesting payment through links.
• Do not click on suspicious links or provide personal or financial information.
• If you are unsure whether a court appearance or payment is legitimate, contact the Vanderburgh County Clerk’s Office directly at (812) 435-5160.

Unfortunately, one individual recently appeared in court after receiving one of these scam texts, only to find out they did not even have a scheduled hearing.

Scammers often use fear and urgency to pressure people into acting quickly.

Join us for a fun-filled evening at the Free Community Picnic on Wednesday, June 17th, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Howell Shelter House! We’ll be firing up the grill with free burgers and hotdogs, complemented by live music from a local band and plenty of activities for all ages. It’s the perfect mid-week break to enjoy some great food, catch up with neighbors, and soak in the community atmosphere.

In addition to the food and music, we are excited to host a hands-on demonstration for the Mosquito Bucket Challenge, where you can learn how to build an eco-friendly trap to reclaim your backyard from pests—and one lucky attendee will even get to take a completed bucket home! Families won’t want to miss out on the fun at Howell Par 3, where kids can play a free round of mini-golf and enter a drawing for an exciting prize. Whether you’re coming for the golf, the music, or just a great burger, we can’t wait to see you there!
