The love and redeeming power of Christ is what we truly need. His love gives us life we could never earn or deserve. While the world offers countless things to believe in, nothing compares to what God freely gives us through Christ. Anything that doesn’t line up with His Word cannot replace His truth.

The world may talk about spirituality that is false and not of Him, don't buy the lie...the world promises identity, purpose, and fulfillment, but the price can be our family, our identity, our peace, and ultimately our eternity. But Christ asks us to earn nothing. His grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love are freely given. Whoa!!

The world can never give us what only Christ can: truth, redemption, and eternal life.

Be kind to yourself today and don't believe the lies that keep you stuck. You just need to know the Word of God, debate the words spoken over you, rebuke it and replace with God's truth...don't miss out on what He has for you, because someone thinks different about you.

Be Blessed, Speak Life and against all Hope, in Hope, Believe. Believing that the Holy Spirit can guide and lead us into His truth.

Remember, when others make mistakes, that they stood by you through thick and thin. They prayed over you, encouraged you, supported you, and helped guide you along the way.

So when it’s your turn to extend grace, remember the same grace that was given to you. Don’t forget to pray for them, encourage them, and help guide them with love.

Because the shame, guilt, and disgust they may already feel about themselves can be heavy enough. When we respond with hurt, anger, or condemnation, we can unintentionally add to that weight. And honestly, none of us want to do that. But that is what hurt can do, it creates more hurt. And in the end, we all lose.

We all make mistakes. We all fall short. We all need someone to remind us that one mistake doesn’t define who we are. Sometimes the greatest thing we can offer someone is the same grace we once needed ourselves. ❤️

In its 20th year Restore Outreach Ministries is the outreach arm of The Gathering Church. Here is some bullet points that ROM does:

•Weekly Monday meals

•Weekly Monday Celebrate Recovery for children, teens, men and women

•Transportation from sober living houses to Monday recovery meetings.

•Yearly back to school giveaways
(Up to 1,000)

•Christmas to assist parents for their kids
(Up to 150)

•Christmas Savings Match, (Up to 20)

•Assist in additional feeding programs at TGC

•Mental health component with Restore Hope

•TBA - Addiction & Mental Health
Recovery Coaching

•Celebrate Recovery at Work-release at The Vanderburgh County of Corrections.
(Begins August 15)
