Meet Shirley! Some cats take a little longer to find their people, and Shirley has been patiently waiting for hers since March 2025.

At just a year and a half old, Shirley has spent over a year with us, and in that time we've watched her blossom into a truly wonderful cat. While she can be a tiny bit shy when meeting new people, it's impossible not to fall in love with her once she comes out of her shell. She absolutely loves to be pet, and if you're doing a particularly good job, she'll reward you with the sweetest little chirps!

She's playful, affectionate, and has a gentle personality that shines brighter everyday. Once Shirley trusts you, she'll be a loyal companion who is always happy to see you. Come meet Shirley at River Kitty and see why our staff and volunteers adore her! 💕
