Join us for an object lettering workshop with on Tuesday, March 3 at Bluestocking Social!

Object lettering is the practice of building letterforms from physical materials rather than ink or digital type. By arranging everyday objects into carefully constructed serif, sans serif, and script forms, designers create typography that feels dimensional, tactile, and thoughtfully crafted.

Join graphic designer Jordan Rogers for a hands-on workshop exploring the fundamentals of object lettering. With over 10 years of experience in the medium, Jordan will guide attendees through constructing letterforms using an array of materials — from spices to unexpected found objects — while maintaining typographic structure, spacing, and proportions. The workshop will also cover composition, styling, and how to stage and photograph the final piece.

Designed for creatives looking to expand their process beyond the screen, this session offers a focused, tactile approach to typography.

This workshop is free!
