Throwback Thursday 🇰🇪

Today, we look back at the beginning of a partnership that has made a lasting impact. Our journey with Amani Partners Kenya began when JD Sheth had the opportunity to construct a dining hall and kitchen for a school they support in Kenya. What started as one meaningful project grew into a relationship rooted in service, collaboration, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

Since then, JD Sheth and Amani Partners Kenya have partnered on nearly half a dozen projects, working together to support our global neighbors in Kenya, Africa.

We’re grateful for the trust, friendship, and shared vision that have made these projects possible…Here’s to where it all began, and to all that lies ahead. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏻

🌈 Kindness is growing in the Glenwood Neighborhood! 💙🪨

JD Sheth is so excited to help bring a Kindness Rock Garden to Caldwell Park this September with !

Dozens of amazing community members have painted hundreds of rocks that will become part of our garden, a place where residents can find a little encouragement on a bad day, leave a painted rock of their own, and, most importantly, see a reminder that our community cares about one another. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone, especially Susan & Brian Bohrnstedt, who have painted, donated, supported, organized, and helped make this project possible. Your kindness is already making a difference!

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Ingrid Payton 🌟

This week we’re celebrating the incredible Ingrid Payton!

Ingrid is an amazing physical therapist, a proud mom to two daughters, and someone who brings light everywhere she goes. From day one, her adventurous spirit, genuine kindness, and willingness to jump in and work as part of a team made a lasting impact on everyone around her.

This was Ingrid’s very first build trip with our foundation, and she embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, compassion, and a servant’s heart. Volunteers like Ingrid remind us that building is about so much more than construction, it’s about building friendships too.

Thank you, Ingrid, for FINALLY saying “yes” to this journey and for being such an important part of our mission. We are so grateful to have you on our team!!

This Week at Caldwell Park 🌳

Progress continues at Caldwell Park! This week, the Evansville Parks & Recreation Department is setting the foundation for a new piece of equipment that will be installed in the next couple of weeks. We’re excited to see this project take shape, we are grateful for the support for our neighborhood, and we can’t wait to share the finished addition with the community!

Another step forward- Meena’s Place! 🏡

A huge thank you to Neuhaus Lumber for creating and finalizing the new designs for our 4-car garage, laundry area, and mudroom. These plans were thoughtfully designed with safety, security, and the needs of the women and children we will serve.

We are so grateful for the expertise, care, and generosity being poured into this project. Every drawing, design, donation, and helping hand brings us one step closer to creating a safe place where women and children can heal, grow, and build a brighter future.

🚔 Exciting update on Officer Taylor! 💙

Earlier this summer, Officer Sam Taylor received a truck donated by JD Sheth, the Evansville Police Foundation, and the Evansville Fraternal Order of Police #73. Last week, that truck officially went in for its adaptive modifications.

The adaptation process is expected to take 4–6 weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited for Officer Taylor and his family as they look forward to having a vehicle that will help him be more mobile, independent, and able to get out and enjoy life.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this possible and can’t wait to see Officer Taylor behind the wheel of his newly adapted truck! 💙

These are some of the children who are benefiting from the structure we built last month during our JD Sheth Costa Rica build trip. ❤️🌎

What we created is a space designed to support ecotourism, connection, and mental health for the local community. Knowing that these children will have the opportunity to experience and benefit from this space makes the hard work and long days all worth it.
