Some stories are worth revisiting. Here's a look back at a moment that continues to inspire us today! ⏪🕰️📸
The Deaconess Police Department and Deaconess EMS continue to play an important role in supporting patients, visitors, and team members across our health system. Today, we’re looking back at a 2024 grant made possible through the generosity of our donors. New protective vests were provided to first responders, helping equip Deaconess staff with resources that support their important role across our health system.
Thank you to everyone who helps advance care and well-being throughout our community. Learn more at www.deaconess.com/foundation

Newborns are among the most precious patients cared for at Deaconess, and each new life is to be celebrated and cherished.

Thanks to a recently awarded grant, The Women’s Hospital was able to purchase two new SNOO® interactive bassinettes. These innovative bassinets respond in real time to a newborn’s movements and cries—providing gentle motion and soothing support to help create a calming environment.

While these bassinettes are beneficial for soothing fussy babies, they are especially impactful for newborns experiencing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS). NAS occurs when newborns experience withdrawal after birth due to in utero exposure to illicit substances.

Thank you to those who faithfully give to The Women’s Hospital fund. If you would like to be part of the positive change for babies in our community, we invite you to partner with us today! Visit www.deaconess.com/give
