Alliance of African Scholars

Alliance of African Scholars The Alliance of African Scholars seeks to promote critical discourse regarding African representations across varied academic disciplines.

The Alliance of African Scholars (AAS) seeks to unite African students across varied academic disciplines, creating spaces for critical discourse and activism regarding African representations, social movements, and current events. As a community, AAS interrogates dominant African narratives to challenge the manner in which students, professors, and administrators engage Africa. Accordingly, AAS works to create and reform spaces to celebrate dynamic and diverse African experiences.
