At our 27th Annual RPFPC Celebrity Golf Outing this July, we had the honor of celebrating our 2026 Youth Football Grant recipients. Congratulations to our three outstanding organizations selected to receive this year’s grant!

Supporting youth football and investing in the next generation of athletes, leaders, and communities is at the heart of what we do. Celebrating our grant and scholarship recipients each year is one of the most rewarding parts of our mission.

One of our favorite traditions each year is gathering around the table to review applications for our RPFPC scholarships and grants!

This year, RPFPC Executive Director Tom Serpento was joined by former NFL players Steve Edwards and Nate Turner to carefully read through each submission, learning about the coaches, volunteers, athletes, and families behind programs that are making a lasting impact in their communities. Every application told a story of dedication, mentorship, and a commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation.

The best part of the process comes after the decisions are made—the phone calls. Getting to share the news with these organizations and celebrate the incredible work they're doing is a reminder of why this grant exists in the first place.

We can't wait to recognize this year's recipients and celebrate their impact at our RPFPC Celebrity Golf Outing next week. Congratulations again to all!

After a thorough review process, including application evaluations and live phone interviews, the 2026 RPFPC Youth Football Grant Committee has selected its three grant recipients.

Chicago Chapter member, Ray McElroy, founder of A Ray of Hope, partnered with the Chicago Bears to host a Flag Football Camp, giving young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and learn valuable lessons both on and off the field.
