Evanston Running Club “Nobody runs alone” at Evanston Running Club, whose 400 members gather regularly for group runs, educational programs and social events!

The Evanston Running Club (ERC) was formed back in 1973 by a group of Evanston runners who met at the YMCA to run on the indoor track. Today, the club roster boasts close to 400 members. In addition to helping runners meet other runners, the goals of the ERC include providing resources in the form of monthly educational programs, a monthly newsletter and social events to help build up a community of runners on a local level.
