Bear River Riders

Bear River Riders BRR is a family oriented volunteer organization of equine enthusiasts. Our non profit club is run by many volunteers that work hard for our members.

Welcome to Bear River Riders, Southwest
Wyoming's most active equestrian club. We have
over 100 members ranging from toddlers to seniors. Most of our members own their own horses, but this
is not a requirement for membership. BRR is a
family oriented volunteer organization of equine
enthusiasts. Our non profit club is run by many
volunteers that work hard for our members. We host
FIVE (5) gymkhana

s a year, along with a year end
awards banquet. We emphasize a fun and safe family oriented atmosphere with classes/events for the beginner to the advanced rider.

Hello everyone! With a new committee coming in, we wanted to throw an idea out there of changing the name of the Bear River Riders. Try to bring in new members, new sponsorships, and just kind of have a fresh start and get revitalized. I have helped get sponsors over the past few years. And with me living in Rock Springs, some of the Rock Springs businesses don't want to sponsor something that doesn't involve their Community as well. Even with me trying to explain that it's surrounding areas that are involved it didn't matter. I think if we are able to have a name change for example put as "Southwestern Wyoming Barrel Race" or something like that we might be able to get more sponsorships around other areas. We wanted to ask our members what they think as well. If you'll please comment or even personal message me and let me know your thoughts and opinions that would be great.

We have planned on having our Bear River Riders banquet this Saturday at 4, but a winter weather advisory has been issued. We do have members coming from as far as Rawlins. Thoughts on rescheduling?
