Let’s go exploring! 🦖🖼️ This week, we’re heading to the museum.

Museums aren't just for quiet hallways; they’re for big questions and "wow" moments. Whether you’re looking at fossils, fine art, or local history, it’s all about letting kids lead the way.

Pro-tip: Check your local museum calendars for free family days or neighborhood discounts 🎟️✨

Where are you heading first?

It’s —the perfect excuse to put yourself at the top of the to-do list. 📞✨

Ovarian cancer is often a quiet disease, which is why listening to your body is so powerful. If something feels "off," or even if you just haven’t had a check-in lately, don’t hesitate. Ask the questions. Be your own best advocate. Your voice matters more than you know.

At the AKR Foundation, we’re working every day to fund the research that makes early detection a reality. Today, we’re rooting for you to prioritize you. ☂️🤍

Summer Friday check-in! ☀️ Our Summer Slide series is back and starting with the basics: The power of a good story.

Just 15–20 minutes a day is all it takes to keep those creative gears turning. Whether it’s a graphic novel, a family audiobook for a road trip, or a fresh stack of books from the local library, there’s no wrong way to dive in.

Let’s turn the page on summer learning loss!

Today we honor the survivors, the stories, and the strength that define . 🎗️

Amy Krouse Rosenthal showed us that living with purpose doesn’t stop in the face of a challenge—it grows. Her legacy of generosity is the heartbeat of our mission, pushing us forward in the search for better research and deeper support.

To everyone navigating their own cancer journey: we stand with you today and always. 🤍✨

Spotted! 🔍 A young reader lost in the world of AKR’s “Exclamation Mark”! 📚💛

This , we’re looking back at this sweet moment from a past event with Save the Children. There is truly nothing like the magic that happens when a child finds a book that speaks to them.

Access to stories isn't just about literacy—it’s about the worlds those books unlock. This year, we’re more committed than ever to getting books into the hands of young readers and keeping that spark of curiosity alive. Let’s do more together! ✨📖

Happy ! 🛁✨ (Yes, it’s a real thing!)

To celebrate, we’re resharing one of our favorite snippets: “Brother,” from “Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life” by Amy Krouse Rosenthal.

Swipe for a special throwback to our 2022 Yellow Umbrella Party, where Amy’s brother, Joe, gave a moving reading of this piece. It’s a beautiful reminder of the ordinary, everyday memories that connect us.

P.S. 🤫 You can still watch the full 2022 Virtual Yellow Umbrella Party on our website—just head to the link in our bio.

Happy ! ✨ Today, we’re looking back at one of Amy’s most iconic memos: ATM = Always Trust Magic. What started as a simple trip to the bank became a beautiful reminder to find meaning in the everyday moments that usually pass us by. Today, we’re channeling that spirit and writing our own memos to keep noticing, wondering, and trusting in the magic all around us in 2026. 🪄

What’s a "memo to self" you’re carrying with you today?

Looking back at a day full of "YES!" ✨🌈

We had the best time partnering with the for A Day of Yes! last month. It was such a joy to see families recharging in our Quiet Story Lounge and enjoying all the face painting and bubble "swimming" the museum had to offer.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special shoutout to Amy’s daughter, , for her two wonderful readings of "Yes Day!" 📖💛
