Family, in case you haven't heard, this year’s Evanston Family Reunion Cookout is officially CANCELLED.

But don't you worry... we'll be back!

We’re already making plans for a 2027 Meet & Greet and Cookout that reflects everything E-Fam stands for. Mark your 2027 calendars and tell ya people.

We are feeling deeply saddened to share the passing of a beloved member of our Evanston family, Steven Eason.

To the Easons, Shelbys and Murrays...our hearts and prayers are with you! 🤍 To everyone who knew him, we extend our heartfelt condolences.

We will call Steve's name out this year, along with so many others we've lost- not to mark his absence but to keep his memory alive among people who truly loved and cared for him.

Let's continue to uplift one another and pray for his wife, Audrey Arlene Murray-Eason and daughter, Nichole Eason Boyd, as well as all other family and friends impacted by this incredible loss.

We invite the community to join family on Friday, March 6th in celebrating his life. Service details are included in this post.

Our hearts are with the family of a man whose presence, impact and legacy will continue to echo in the lives he touched.

At this year’s Family Reunion Community Cookout, his name will be called with deep love and respect as we honor his life and so many others who have shaped our community with their love, service, and spirit.

We invite the community to join his family this morning (2/13) in celebrating his life. Service details are included with this post.

Please keep our secretary, Carmen Francellno and family in mind and lift them up in prayer, as we grieve the loss of a wonderful man and father.
