One of the 5 pillars of the Miss America Opportunity is Scholarship! With scholarship being close to my heart, I’m pursuing a dual degree in Theatre and Manufacturing & Design Engineering from Northwestern University!

Exemplifying this pillar, this past weekend I had the opportunity, as a member of the Northwestern University Society of Women Engineers, to participate in a two-day conference in Chicago hearing from alumni and professors about success, hard work, and what the reality is for women in engineering!

I’m excited to take the lessons I learned and continue applying them to not only my education and career trajectory, but also the work I do as Miss Lake County!
