Today, on the Day of the African Child, the global community is focused on a critical mandate: ensure access to water, sanitation, and hygiene for every child.
In the remote villages of Cameroon and Uganda where Fahmiyanwi works, this isn't about complex infrastructure, it's about basic human needs met by simple collaboration. We are able to bring clean water where some organizations cannot go because these are our people, and we work with them through our own friends and relatives.
Together we make a sustainable difference. Where children once foraged in the forest for groundwater, they are now able to have a local well.

Project costs have been between $8,000 and $30,000, and in each community averaged between $4 and $12 per person to have clean, sustainable water. Every dollar changes a life!
