Abracadabra envisions a world where one’s start does not predict their finish. A world where every young girl, especially those challenged economically and/or socially, is able to reach their full potential and transform into their best self. Our Programs
• The Abracadabra Project- Is where it all started, gifts prom dresses, prom tickets, and prom related accessories are gifted to homeless or low

income high school seniors and juniors within the Lake County School system. These girls are treated to a Cinderella experience, which includes them being picked up in a limo, treated to hair, nails and makeup, and pamper throughout the experience by a personal shopper.
• Mentoring Retreats- This has been a weekend aimed at high school girls, during the weekend we attend a cultural activity. In the past, we’ve attended a theater production of Black Girl Speaks, a College Pep Rally at Downtown Disney and a College Football game. Also included in this weekend, which is attended by volunteers, is mentoring and the facilitation of sessions that focus on an array of topics ranging from self-image, college readiness, and networking.
• The College Tour- targets fifty (50) high school girls that are potentially first generation college attendees. The tour will include stops at 10 different colleges, cultural activities, and opportunities for mentoring by volunteers.
• The Abracadabra Scholarship will be awarded to a previous Abracadabra participant who will enroll in college the following school year.

Abracadabra 2022 College Tour has come to a close.

“No matter where we come from, there is one language we can all speak and understand from birth, the language of the heart, love.”

The ladies really learned the importance of sisterhood and they are forever connected.

As we closed, day 5 included
Our dream team presentations. Congratulations to dream team 3.
We toured University of North Florida.
Our last stop was at LPGA for some learning on how to be effective leaders and fun.

Day 3 was amazing.
Our day included:
The Florida Capitol Tour
Florida State University Tour by our precious Abracadabra Alumni.
A trip to the Famous Oleans
We then headed to Atlanta to get dressed up and meet our “fairies”.
The ladies got all dolled up to meet a group of women who poured inspiration, wisdom, and provided networking opportunities at Maggiano’s.
