📋👟 RACE DAY CHECKLIST & SCHEDULE! 👟📋

We are officially counting down the hours to our final race this today, May 31st! To make sure this afternoon goes as smoothly as possible for our runners, please take a quick look at the helpful info below.

Here is your quick Get Up and Go! Checklist before you head out the door:
💧 Water Bottle
👟 Running Sneakers
🧷 Bibs and Safety Pins (Don't forget to pack these!)

⏱️ Race Divisions & Distances
Not sure which race your runner is in or how far they are running? Here is the lineup for Sunday:

Pre-K (Age 2/3): 50 Yd Dash

Pre-K (Age 4/5): 75 Yd Dash

Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 1/4 Mile

2nd & 3rd Grade: 1/2 Mile

4th & 8th Grade: 1 Mile

Challenger Race: 75 Yd Dash (Our inclusive race for children with special needs)

Single Day Race is still available! Registration opens one hour before we start the first race!

We will see you all at the start at 3:00 PM

Quick reminders:
🆕 New or missed last week? Arrive 15 min early to do a single day registration.
📌 Pin your bib to the front of your shirt — fill out the bottom completely (first initial, last name, age, grade, division & gender). Don't tear it off!
🖊️ Black Sharpie works best! Safety pins & markers available on-site.
⛈️ Weather cancellations posted 2 hours before race time via email, text & here on Facebook.

Great race today kiddos. Each of you showed great sportsmanship and strength in your race today. We are so proud of everyone who pushed themself in the heat today. Now it is time to recover and get prepared for Week 4 Race Day, 5/24 @ 3-PM!

Week 3 is Musselman’s Day! 🍎

Thank you to Musselman’s for partnering with HKRS to create a healthier future for our youth!

We are also excited to announce that Musselman’s is sending a post race snack for our race this upcoming week! After your runner crosses the finish line they will be given a yummy cup of applesauce!

Keep an eye on social media for some fun facts about the benefits of eating applesauce as a snack too!
