We’re pleased to welcome The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail as an EcoExpo 2026 Eco Participant. This Lake County gem helps build awareness around Florida scrub habitat—home to the iconic Florida scrub-jay, gopher tortoises, and many native plants and pollinators that depend on healthy, protected ecosystems.

Stop by their booth to pick up laminated butterfly + host plant guides, and let the kids jump into the fun with wildlife rubbing posts—they’ll be able to take home scrub-jay, gopher tortoise, and butterfly rubbings. And depending on weather and conditions, they may even bring a rehabbed gopher tortoise for attendees to see up close.

This volunteer-led group monitors Purple Martin nesting houses at Clermont Waterfront Park, collecting and sharing data that supports ongoing conservation research and a better understanding of migratory patterns and population health.
