With great pride we announce the 40th Anniversary Season of the Bay Street Players! Our diverse line-up for both Main and Second Stage seasons offers something for everyone. We took great care to listen to your comments last year and feel this 40th season will leave you more than pleased! From Main Stage gems like Jesus Christ Superstar and the hilarious Rumors, to Second Stage plays such as Proof and Betrayal, we have a selection of both classic and contemporary works to offer our subscribers. Come to downtown Eustis through Feb 12 to see the banners hanging. On Feb 15th an open house and silent auction will be held at the Lake Eustis Museum of Art. (see poster for details)

Come to downtown Eustis, stroll the streets and view "Arts In The Air" created by emerging and professional artists. Over 45 works of art are on display from light poles through February 12th, 2014. The exhibit culminates on Feburary 15th with two events from 6-9pm. A reception and silent auction of the banners will be held at the Lake Eustis Museum of Art. For the silent auction, banners may be viewed at both merchant and wine tasting venues during the Night of Wine & Music event held between 6-9 pm. (Wine-tasting tickets are not required in order to view and bid on banners)

Banner auction proceeds help fund next year’s Arts in the Air project and the 17th Annual Lake County Folk Festival, Oct.11-12 in historic downtown Eustis. Supported by the volunteer efforts of Public Arts & Music (PAM)/ Lake Eustis Institute, the participating artists, Lake Eustis Museum of Art, Wine Cellars Uncorked, the City of Eustis and Bay & Lake Pharmacy.

This year’s theme will be Delicious Reads, the theme of the 11th annual Lake County BookFest. Delicious Reads delights in good books, great food and fabulous friends! All students (K-12) and adults in Lake County are encouraged to enter multiple designs.

The Annual Bookmark Design contest is presented by the LCLS libraries for all students in Lake County. Winning bookmarks are print and distributed at all fifteen LCLS Libraries. Every year brigns a different theme and is a wonderful opportunity for the aspiring artist and designer to show their tale...

CALL FOR ARTISTS! 8TH ANNUAL ART IS IN THE AIR

Public Arts & Music (PAM) is issuing a call for professional & emerging artists to participate in the award-winning "Arts in the Air" Banner Project.

Banners will be displayed on the lamp poles lining the bricked downtown streests of Eustis. This "gallery on the streets" runs January 12th through February 12th, 2014, culminating in a Silent Banner Auction and Downtown Wine Walk, February 15th.

The deadline for finished banners will be January 10th, 2014. Canvas Banners will be provided for participating artists. Artists must gesso and paint both sides and use acrylic paint. PAM will seal the banners. Please call to arrange pick-up or delivery of your banner. The number of artists is limited. The project theme is "Art is Life." Artists will be recognized in promotional materials and during the auction event. See attached flyer for more information.
