Public Statement from IInfinite Helping Hands Center Eustis, Florida | September 14, 2025
We at Infinite Helping Hands Center are heartbroken and outraged.
Our mission has always been to uplift families in crisis—offering them not just shelter, but dignity, healing, and hope. When we placed Kirklyn B. and her children in the care of New Beginnings Central Florida, we believed we were giving them a chance at a better life. What they received instead was exposure to dangerous living conditions that compromised their physical health, destabilized their emotional well-being, and deepened their trauma.
The official Notice of Violation issued by the City of Clermont on August 11, 2025, confirms what Kirklyn’s family endured: mold-infested walls, leaking plumbing, unsafe electrical systems, and structural decay. The property at 268 East Ave was declared unfit for human occupancy. These are not just code violations—they are violations of trust, safety, and basic human decency.
We entrusted New Beginnings with lives that mattered. They failed.
We speak out today not only for Kirklyn and her children, but for every family who has been placed in environments that harm rather than heal. We call on New Beginnings Central Florida to take full accountability, to publicly address these violations, and to ensure no other family is subjected to such neglect.
We also urge our community leaders, city officials, and fellow nonprofits to join us in demanding higher standards of care, transparency, and oversight. Vulnerable families deserve more than good intentions—they deserve safe, stable, and nurturing environments.
Infinite Helping Hands Center will continue to advocate fiercely for those we serve. We will not be silent when harm is done under the guise of help.
