Come take a look inside Yada Yada Pottery — the creative home of our Empty Bowls Mt. Dora bowl making sessions and glazing nights. 💛

We wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the spaces where our community will gather this season to create bowls for Empty Bowls 2026. From local artwork and pottery to glazing tables, kilns, and wheel classes, Yada Yada is such a special part of this event — and of our community.

Whether you’ve never touched clay before or already love pottery, we hope you’ll join us for a session this season.

One bag of clay can become something much bigger. 💛

Each sponsored bag helps create 17–18 handmade bowls for Empty Bowls Mt. Dora — bowls that will later be glazed, filled with soup, and shared in support of Lake Cares Food Pantry.

Thank you to the sponsors (@ Cozy Nest 💛) helping bring this event to life... one bowl at a time.

It all starts with clay.

Each $110 bag helps create 17–18 bowls for Empty Bowls Mt. Dora and covers the materials needed to bring them to life.
Those bowls will later be shaped, glazed, filled with soup, and shared in support of Lake Cares Food Pantry.

Empty Bowls is back! 💛 Join us on October 30 for an evening of community, creativity, and compassion in support of Lake Cares Food Pantry.

Last year, thanks to this incredible community, we raised $20,570 to help provide meals for local families. We’re excited to come together again and build on that impact.

Stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to get involved — we’d love to have you be part of it.💛

Oh what a night! ✨

… a night where our community came together with one purpose & so much heart. Seeing everyone gather in support of & their mission was a reminder of what Mt. Dora can accomplish when we show up for one another. We’re deeply grateful to not only for the incredible work they do year-round, but also for everything they did to help bring this event together.

To our restaurants, local businesses, & the talented musicians who shared their gifts with us — thank you. Your contributions & generosity added so much to the evening, & we couldn’t have created this experience without you.

A huge thank-you to all our volunteers who spent the day setting up, running the event, & breaking it all down. Your time, energy, & willingness to help made everything run smoothly.

A special note of gratitude for Juliette — her experience & deep love for this project made our partnership something truly special. And to the family who crafted so many of the bowls by hand, the volunteers who showed up for every glazing night, & the many friends and neighbors who came out to glaze — your creativity & heart were poured into every bowl. Thank you.

Mt. Dora really is a special place. 💛
Thank you for proving once again what we can accomplish together. Let’s keep working, side by side, to end food poverty in our town.
