We're Rebuilding But We Need Your Help

Since the fire in 2024, First Baptist Church of Eustace has been working tirelessly to restore our sanctuary. Thanks to a recent agreement with our insurance and the dedication of our members, construction is now in motion.

We are currently $37,000 away from our "move-in" goal. While the structure is rising, these remaining funds are vital to provide the interior equipment and finishing requirements that insurance does not cover.

We are reaching out to our broader community to help us secure the future of this building. Your support will not only rebuild a roof and walls but will provide a space for weddings, funerals, community gatherings, and worship for generations to come. Thank you for being a part of our restoration story.

Good afternoon church. Hope everyone is staying warm.

Out of an abundance of caution, the church office will be closed Monday. We will determine Tuesday as time progresses.

If you need anything, please feel free to reach out. Continue to stay warm everyone.

Good afternoon church family,

As most of you are aware, we are looking at some very cold, perhaps even extreme weather conditions this weekend. The forecast anticipates temperatures in the teens with possible ice/snow and dangerous roads.

I've been speaking with our Deacon Officers and Music Minister on how to prepare for Church Services, and after much prayer, I've decided that out of my love and care for your safety that I am going to err on the side of caution and cancel both the AM and PM Church Services for Sunday, January 25, 2026. We will pick back up next Sunday, February 1 for both AM and PM Services with the Business Meeting during the PM Service.

Please take this time to stay warm in your home and reach out to me personally if I can help you get prepared for the weekend.

However, Sunday is still coming and it's still the Lord's Day, so I encourage you to worship in your homes with your families this Sunday.

Blessings,

Pastor Travis Norrell

Yesterday, Bro. Travis was preaching from Jude 12-14.

Jude 1:12-14 NKJV
[12] These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; [13] raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. [14] Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,

Are we a cloud without rain? Are we a tree without fruit, dead twice over and about to be pulled up by the roots? Maybe we need to stop doing things FOR God and begin praying what God has us do for Him? How can we be Christians without CHRIST?

Let's take a moment, or a while, and see what the Lord has us do. He might have a better plan than us.

What a great turnout at last night's Hallelujah Festival. Thank you to everyone that attended. Lots of candy given away. Lots of kids had fun.

Can't wait to see everyone in church in the morning at 10:45 for worship. We will be back in the book of Jude.

"To those who are called..."
Are you called?

"To those who are sanctified by God..."
Are you sanctified?

"To those who are preserved in Jesus Christ..."
Has Jesus Christ preserved you?

If you can't say yes to any of these questions, please contact us. We would love to talk with you about how to yes to all 3.
