Walking Wednesday (formerly Trekking Tuesday) is Back!

Join the Grant Elementary PTA for our first Walking Wednesday of the school year this Wednesday, September 2!

Walking Wednesday takes place on the first Wednesday of every month and is a fun way for Grant students and families to start the school day together. We’ll meet at Poletski’s Appliance Center and walk as a group to Grant Elementary.

Eureka mornings can be chilly, so be sure to dress for the weather! Sweatshirts, jackets, and layers are encouraged.

Students and families are welcome to join us. Come walk, connect with other Grant families, and start the morning with some fresh air and movement!

🍎 Tomorrow is the first day of school! ✏️📚

Did you know that every year, Grant Elementary PTA sets aside funds to help our teachers purchase supplies for their classrooms? Supporting our teachers is one of the many ways PTA helps make more possible for Grant students. ❤️

This evening, PTA also delivered a few first-day goodie bags to our amazing teachers to help them start the new school year with a little extra encouragement (and a few treats!). 🎁🍫

We hope all of our Grant teachers, staff, students, and families have a wonderful first day tomorrow. Here’s to a great school year! 🐾❤️

And teachers—don’t forget! A $7 PTA membership unlocks up to $200 in classroom supply reimbursement for the school year.
