🚨 SEVERE WEATHER ALERT – TAKE ACTION NOW 🚨

📢 The National Weather Service has issued an urgent warning: St. Louis faces a very real threat of strong tornadoes and destructive storms this evening. This is a serious situation—please stay alert and be prepared to take shelter quickly.

🔴 WHY THIS STORM IS DANGEROUS:
✅ Potential for strong, long-track tornadoes
✅ High winds and large hail capable of causing severe damage
✅ Risk to large gatherings at fish fry's, gyms, and big-box structures where roof failures are common

📌 Remember:
➡️ St. Louis has experienced storms like this before—the Good Friday Tornado in 2011 and the Defiance Tornado in 2021 caused widespread destruction. Don’t wait until it’s too late to take action.
➡️ Our outdoor warning sirens will sound for tornado warnings AND destructive storms. Do not rely solely on sirens—have multiple ways to receive alerts!

🛑 WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW:
✔️ Stay weather aware—monitor alerts from trusted sources (NOAA Weather Radio, local news, emergency apps)
✔️ Have a safe place ready—a basement or interior room away from windows
✔️ If at a large gathering, make sure organizers have an emergency plan
✔️ Charge your devices and have an emergency kit on hand

⚠️ THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. BE READY. Help us spread the word and keep St. Louis safe!
