We are proud to be a part of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program through the Bridgeville Community Center.
Through our annual Grant Program, Humboldt Sponsors provides funding to help support this vital community program that instills the love of reading in our youngest learners, with nearly 1800 local kids ages 0-5 receiving free books in the mail every month.

Thank you, Attila Gyenis and the Bridgeville Community Center! And most of all, thank you, Dolly, for creating the Imagination Library in Tennessee back in 1995. What a legacy she leaves behind!

In 1995, Dolly Parton started mailing books to children in her home county to inspire children to love reading in honor of her dad, who couldn’t read or write.

That idea lives here too. Every month, over 1750 children in Humboldt County find a book in the mailbox — because of neighbors who fund it, volunteers who run it, and a woman from Sevier County, TN who started it all.

Thank you, Dolly. We will always love you.

Leaders at Work!

Mrs. Rogers and six leadership learners traveled to Santa Barbara over the summer to attend Camp CADA Leadership Camp. Over the course of four days our leaders were immersed in development and activity design to bring back to Zane, all while staying in the dorms of UC Santa Barbara and interacting with 200+ other middle and high school leaders!

We would like to give an immense thanks to Humboldt Sponsors for supporting our leaders and providing them a grant towards the registration cost to attend!

We are still basking in the warm, satisfying glow of our 2026 summer fundraiser, “Boots & Bandanas,” held Thursday, August 6th. We are extremely grateful for everyone who helped make this event ~ our biggest fundraiser of the year ~ such a huge success!

✨ All net proceeds from this event go directly into our Grant Fund. Since 1971, Humboldt Sponsors members have raised and distributed nearly $3,144,400 to help provide opportunities for Humboldt County children to participate in educational, recreational and cultural enrichment activities, and to assist youth-oriented programs that provide basic needs.
✨ In April of this year, Humboldt Sponsors awarded more than $104,400, which funded 91 individual grant requests to local nonprofits serving our youth.
✨ It takes a village & a lot of hard work to accomplish this level of service. We appreciate each & every one of our friends, family, business & community supporters, as well as our dedicated members, for helping us in our efforts to “make good things happen for local kids!”
