Humboldt Sponsors, a nonprofit charitable organization, raises funds solely to benefit the youth of Humboldt County CA.

Since 1971, we have awarded more than $3,144,400 in grant funds to local youth-related nonprofits, surpassing our $3 million milestone! Since 1973, Humboldt Sponsors members have raised and distributed nearly $2,733,000 to help provide opportunities for Humboldt County children to participate in educational, recreational and cultural enrichment activities, and to assist youth-oriented programs tha

t provide basic needs. In April 2022, Humboldt Sponsors awarded more than $85,422, which funded 44 individual grant requests. Grant applications are solicited from the community on an annual basis. The funding requests received are evaluated and awarded based on need and the criteria presented. Grant funds are designated exclusively for the youth of Humboldt County. Humboldt Sponsors Active Members serve as officers and board members, chair committees, and develop fundraising projects. Associate Members support and participate in Humboldt Sponsors fundraising and social events. A recognition luncheon is held annually to honor the invaluable contributions of Associate Members.

♥️ Annual Associate dues of $30 are tax deductible and go directly into our Grant Fund to benefit local kids.
• Junior Members (under 18) are also welcome and pay $10 dues annually.

♥️ Every year in April, Humboldt Sponsors offer grants to local nonprofit organizations and programs that provide services to Humboldt County youth. These grants support educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment opportunities, as well as assisting youth-oriented programs that provide basic needs.

What a wonderful Sunday afternoon! Our first-ever Kids’ Skate Party was a blast! Another fun social event by Humboldt Sponsors for our members and guests.

🩵 Thank you to all the kids and their grown-ups who joined us for this fun afternoon of skating and pizza! 🛼🍕

🩵 Thanks to City of Eureka Recreation Department for all your help with arrangements, and especially to Jennifer and the staff at Eureka Municipal Auditorium for your “day of” warm welcome, registration, and cheerful assistance.

🩵 Special thanks to Kim Cobine and her Hospitality Committee for planning this fun event for local kids, as well as to our members who volunteered their time & smiles to make this afternoon so special.
