🚨 EMERGENCY WATER BREAK NOTICE 🚨

The City of Eureka is currently dealing with an emergency water break.

💧 Water has been temporarily SHUT OFF on L Avenue from 13th Street to 17th Street while crews work to repair the break.

🔧 Our crew is working as quickly as possible to make the necessary repairs and restore water service.

We apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we get this repaired.

🚨 CITY OF EUREKA ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

🌧️ The City of Eureka Landfill will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11th, due to current conditions.

💧 The pit currently has approximately 4–5 inches of standing water, making conditions unsuitable for use.

🚫 Please do not attempt to use the landfill while it is closed.

🏖️ Just to clarify: The swimming area at the beach is OPEN and ready for everyone to enjoy! 🌊☀️🏊

🚧 Only the playground is currently CLOSED while it is being painted. 🎨🛝 Please respect the closure signs and help keep children out of the playground area until the work is complete. 👷‍♂️

🛝🚫 The playground is closed effective immediately due to painting and maintenance. 🎨🖌️

🚧 Please do NOT enter the playground area or use any of the equipment while the painting is being completed. 👷🛑

📅 The playground will remain CLOSED until further notice. ⏳
