CONCIERGE
The Eureka Bike Kitchen is looking for a part time volunteer concierge twice a week Wednesdays 6PM-8PM and Sundays 2PM-4PM.

As our Concierge, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming riders, helping them get rolling, and keeping the Bike Kitchen running smoothly. It’s a fun, active way to give back, meet great people, and make a real impact..
Duties:
• Welcome everyone to the bike kitchen/ ask how we can help them
• Make sure all people entering the workshop space of the BK signs a waiver and completes the sign-in sheet
• Log every person and their visits into Freehub database
• Update Freehub with the date a person gets their daily/monthly membership and other details such as exchanging credits for parts, a bicycle, receiving helmets, locks or lights, etc.
• Log donated bikes in the Bike Inventory excel file on the computer as well as in the Inventory binder
• Log sold bikes into the Sold binder and update the spreadsheet
• Account for sales of parts and bicycles
• Communicates parts and material needs to Bike Kitchen Manager
• Tidying and minor cleaning of space as needed
• Assign volunteers tasks as needed
• Provide a safe and welcoming point of contact for the bike Kitchen
Requirements:
No experience necessary, but preferred
Kind, patient, and understanding attitude
Good Organizational skills
Okay data management skills
Good Communication
willingness to communicate via text, email, or call

This is a volunteer position subject to the Policies of Redwood Community Action Agency. Volunteers, once selected, will be subjected to a background test.
