Humboldt Animal Rescue Team Humboldt Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T.) Humboldt Animal Rescue Team is a small animal rescue located in Eureka, CA. We specialize in cats and kittens.

is located in Eureka, CA We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization striving to reduce the number of neglected and homeless dogs and cats in our community while educating on the importance of spaying and neutering. All the animals in our program are from Humboldt County, CA. We are a 100% volunteer run organization, no one collects a paycheck, we are all here for the animals. Since 2014, we have saved over 1,000 animals through adoptions while also helping the community to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and feed their pets keeping even more animals out of the shelter. Even if HART can't take an animal into the program we strive to do anything we can to alleviate the animals suffering by connecting them with the necessary services to help them. In order to do this we rely on community donations. If you would like to help us continue this important work donate through our Paypal account [email protected] or visit our webpage www.humboldtanimalrescueteam.org/donate

We are located at 8 West 6th Street, Eureka, CA. Please schedule an appointment to visit.

Kitten season is never ending this year! Little Frida here is almost ready for adoption, and we have another 16 kittens in foster who will be coming to our rescue center soon. Every kitten or cat we care for gets fixed, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas.

With all these cats and kittens needing help, costs have gotten high and our bank account has gotten low.

Our pantry could use some help! We could really use donations of:

Paper towels
Dry cat food (we use Kirkland purple bag, but any kind is appreciated )
Canned cat food
Kitten food
Churu or Temptations or other treats
Wood pellet litter
Garbage bags
Zip lock bags
Chicken baby food (ge**er)

Donations can be dropped off daily at 8 west 6th street in Eureka from 10am-11:30am, or Saturday from 12-3, or message us and we can even come get it!

Frida appreciates the support!

Kittens Oahu (black) and Maui (tabby) are the sweetest boys! They love to adventure and play and of course get pets and treats! In this photo they are licking their lips for more treats 😸
And there is a discount for adopting bonded pairs! 2 kittens is better than 1 ♥️

kitten Sicily (female) ♥️
Sicily is a littler shyer than the other kittens, but she is still curious and playful. She would most likely do best in a calm and quiet household
