Humboldt Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T.) Humboldt Animal Rescue Team is a small animal rescue located in Eureka, CA. We specialize in cats and kittens.

is located in Eureka, CA We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization striving to reduce the number of neglected and homeless dogs and cats in our community while educating on the importance of spaying and neutering. All the animals in our program are from Humboldt County, CA. We are a 100% volunteer run organization, no one collects a paycheck, we are all here for the animals. Since 2014, we have

saved over 1,000 animals through adoptions while also helping the community to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and feed their pets keeping even more animals out of the shelter. Even if HART can't take an animal into the program we strive to do anything we can to alleviate the animals suffering by connecting them with the necessary services to help them. New cats and kittens available for adoption at HART.

Mama cats Tuesday and Wednesday were abandoned by homeowners at the age of four months. A wonderful neighbor tried to care for them, but unfortunately they became pregnant and each had a litter of kittens. The neighbor drove from Redding to Eureka to find a rescue that would take them in.

Meet Olivia, Ollie, Esme, Binx and Dunk (aka Ser Duncan the Tall).
The kittens and their mamas are available for adoption at HART. All have been spayed and neutered, dewormed, and given initial vaccination.

HART is open Saturdays from noon to 3 PM or call to request an appointment.
