Dr. Ghislani Durant, MD, PhD, pioneered medical findings supporting the role of horses as therapeutic to human conditions in his classic 1878 book, Horse-Back Riding: From a Medical Point of View. Since 1994, our all-volunteer nonprofit educational organization, Quest for Excellence, has been applauded as the vanguard of cutting-edge, sometimes controversial yet scientific research supported professional continuing education events.
We are wrapping up our research of equine assisted therapy and related services and will be offering a presentation on this topic in the near future. It will specifically address California licensed senior care, dependent adult care and youth and child care professionals.

FDA announces approval of new Hepatitis D medical treatment:

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Hepcludex (bulevirtide-gmod) injection to treat chronic hepatitis delta virus (HDV) infection in adults without cirrhosis (advanced liver scarring) or with compensated cirrhosis.
