The Hollenbeck family and Blue Ox Historic Village invite you to the World Premiere Watch Party of Radioman, offered for the first time ever online as a special thank you to our larger community. This play was produced live in 2019 at Del Arte International in Blue Lake, California to much critical acclaim. Many talented folks came together to manifest this powerful sharing of real stories from real people ~ in their voices ~ masterfully blended together by playwright Jim McManus. Radioman draws on stories from Eric Hollenbeck’s book “Uncle Sam’s Tour Guide to Southeast Asia”; stories from Iraq and Afghanistan, the Blue Ox Veterans Hearse build team, and President Lincoln’s funeral procession and re-enactment. Love is the common theme in these stories of conflict, hope and healing ~ and laughter is a huge part of that love and healing!
