📍Mal Coombs Park - check when low tide is and then head down…just beyond the lighthouse is the the path down to the tide pools. Respect wildlife and keep a safe distance from seals and sea lions

📍 Black Sands Beach - stunning, amazing, rugged. This is a great place for picnicking, whale watching, sun bathing. Never turn your back on the ocean and check tides before going

Y’all loved the concept of a vending machine with local products so let us introduce Humboldt Made vending machine number 2 🎉

This one is located at 108 F street—the California Welcome Center, Eureka. Along with the airport location, this is another high traffic place, especially with tourists, which means getting Humboldt Made products out further into the world!

Humboldt Made’s mission is to support local businesses and makers through marketing, events, and tourism initiatives that strengthen the Redwood Coast economy and expand their reach beyond the region.

Have you ever played tourist in your own town and toured local businesses?! You should! Torre Sunken Seaweed taught our group so much about seaweed!

Lots of our local business owners and farmers would be happy to show your around and tell you about their business. Always make sure you book ahead before showing up to a business that isn’t open to the public!

Supporting a sustainable local food system is v chic. And EBT recipients, did you know you can get a market match up to $15 when you use your EBT card to get market tokens?! Very, very chic 💅

We love when businesses team up—this is something you see a lot around Humboldt County. Holly Ghee Well has quite the circle of support going on with her crew. Check out one of her latest reel. It gives you the feels 🥹

Did you know that there’s a Humboldt Dockside Market every Saturday?! On the C street Madaket Plaza every Saturday from 9am-1pm where you can find a variety of seasonal catches, a filet station, and some artisan goods.
