Brad Mettam was a friend, a dedicated Rotarian, and a two-time club President. Brad served as Deputy District Director for Planning and Local Assistance with Caltrans and dedicated his life to service. It's only fitting that the new Indianola Undercrossing/Brad Mettam Memorial Interchange bears his name.

The Indianola Undercrossing/Brad Mettam Memorial Interchange on U.S. 101 in Humboldt County is officially open, safely connecting Eureka to Arcata and making the corridor better for everyone who travels it. A huge thank you to Caltrans, local elected leaders, and our fellow members of the Rotary Club of Eureka, whose generous donations made this possible.

Here's a wonderful opportunity for local high school students involved with blood donation and community service to earn a scholarship!

We see young people stepping up, donating blood or even leading blood drives, and showing real passion for community health. These individuals make a bigger impact than they realize. Their energy and leadership are vital to what we do. That is why we created our Community Impact Scholarship. Every year, we award three $1,000 scholarships to students who’ve shown exceptional dedication to blood donation and are heading off to college or other post-secondary programs. It’s our way of saying thanks and cheering them on as they continue to champion blood donation and make a difference in our community.

Help us spread the word!

Please make sure all seniors who have volunteered with a blood drive at any time in their high school career apply for our Community Impact Scholarship.
