Fake photos of adopters seems to be a regular thing for Miranda’s.

If even 25% of these allegations are true, he needs to be in jail for a long time and never allowed to own or be around animals again.

Would it get kids attention if law enforcement (courts) utilized this avenue when arresting minors who steal liquor from retail establishments?

Maybe passing a mandatory suspension for convictions for retail thefts of liquor.

If it saves one life from kids drinking and driving, it’s effective.

If someone 13–20 years old is convicted of §25662, Vehicle Code §13202.5 can trigger:

* a 1-year driver’s license suspension, or
* a 1-year delay in getting a license if they do not yet have one.
Each later alcohol/drug-related conviction can add another year.

California Business & Professions Code §25662 (minor in possession/consumption of alcohol)

Homicide Suspect Arrest

On December 3, 2023, the Eureka Police Department (EPD) Criminal Investigations Unit was contacted by the Arcata Police Department to assist with a missing person investigation. EPD Detectives responded and assisted with the investigation. During the course of the investigation, Detectives learned that a juvenile had not been seen by family members for an extended period of time and it was believed the child was possibly deceased, with their death being concealed by the child’s mother, Nichole Thorpe.

On December 4, 2023, EPD Detectives, in conjunction with the Humboldt County Search and Rescue Team, the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office, and Cal Poly Humboldt personnel, conducted a search in a remote area near Blue Lake. During the search, human remains were located. Subsequent DNA testing confirmed the
remains belonged to the missing child.

Following an extensive investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Nichole Thorpe on April 9, 2026, for charges including homicide, child endangerment, and welfare fraud. EPD Detectives worked in conjunction with the U.S. Marshall’s Office and local agencies in Indiana to locate Thorpe. Thorpe was subsequently located in Indiana and taken into custody on the warrant pending extradition to Humboldt County.

If anyone has information regarding this case, please contact Detective Sergeant Cory Crnich at (707) 441-
4300.

So I have my own PSA right now.
If some fu***ng chick, no matter how genuine sounding, begs you to let her underage daughter come stay with you for a few months, because she's about to give birth and her piece of s**t adult old man who'd been shacked up with got taken to prison before the birth and so now she' homeless and might have to have the kid in a car or in the gutter somewhere or something, do yourself a favor and let her have the baby in the gutter somewhere.
Even if you have an extra room that moment cause your youngest children just moved out. Even if it's it's just in general, fu**ed up thing to do. Even if it's morally unimaginable. Because the same system that will come in, take your home, your animal, take you to jail and charge you with " felony child endangerment" ( twice once for the baby and once for the 17.9 yr old) plus "animal abuse" ( because you didn't have the fu***ng guts to stop them from letting your dogs in the street while you were at work) is the same system that won't allow you to remove them from your home, stop them from doing what they are doing: destroy your home, bring in low lifes at all hours and just in general, fu***ng your life off, and potentially your sanity. Nope, surely you can't stop them from that. But that doesn't mean you're not responsible for what they're doing. I mean, you own that house. So yeah, helping out an extremely pregnant minor, that's a criminal offense.
However, they can't give you felonies for letting the child have her child in the gutter, or the car, or in some drug dealer's basement whatever. As long as you don't let her in your house, you'll be okay. Unfortunately that's the world we live in.
Don't do it. Period. Lesson learned, thanks EPD.
