Humboldt Women Humboldt Women is a grassroots organization that gives monthly grants to entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Humboldt Women, in conjunction with the Emerald Magazine, is a newly formed organization that awards monthly grants to female entrepreneurs and/or women-owned businesses. Humboldt Women is dedicated to providing the women of Humboldt County with grant opportunities to start, expand or sustain her business. Humboldt Women launched in 2015 with the belief that it could provide the women of Humboldt

County with the means to pursue her entrepreneurial dreams. Humboldt Women operates with one philosophy in mind: to stimulate our local economy through the success of women. One $500 grant is allocated to a winner every month. Candidates may submit the questionnaire at any time. The winner will be announced on the 1st of every month. There is a $20 entry fee which goes towards the future success of women in Humboldt County. Businesses with a male partner are still eligible to apply.
