The City of Eureka is seeking to hire a part-time Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leaders to lead participants in work shifts through Uplift Eureka's Job Skills Training Program. Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience, be familiar with navigating community resources, and have a passion for uplifting our fellow community members!

The Uplift Community Stewards have expanded their outreach efforts to the Eureka Waterfront Trail! Volunteer stewards pick up trash and serve as a friendly, welcoming presence.

It's official! Our next Pathway to Payday event will take place next month, June 15th-18th, 9:00AM-12:00PM each day at the Betty Chinn Day Center.

If you're a community member seeking work in Humboldt County, this program is for you! Pathway to Payday offers enhancement of application, resume and interview skills, and offers the opportunity to interview with real employers for real jobs!

🕘 When? June 15th-18th, 9:00AM to 12:00PM Monday through Thursday.

🗺️ Where? The Betty Kwan Chinn Day Center, 133 7th Street in Eureka.

Uplift Eureka is excited to announce that we are now accepting applicants for our Job Skills Training Program!

Join a team for City beautification projects in a work-like environment and gain valuable training and experience to prepare to enter the workforce. Participants also meet weekly in a classroom setting to develop a resume, apply for jobs and overcome barriers to entering the workforce.

Field work shifts are offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12-4pm. Classroom shifts take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-2pm.
