We help children thrive, not just survive! Powerful Purpose is committed to helping children thrive, not just survive.

Working with youth advocates across Missouri (counselors, teachers, coaches, and more), we help children discover and finance their passion! Many incredible programs exist to help youth in need, but most are focused on primary needs such as food and medical care. Powerful Purpose is adamant about closing the gap between those resources and supplies which are funded through federal, state, and local avenues and those needs youth advocates know would make a life-changing difference for the youth who need support and resources to actualize their dreams.

60% do not have what they need to succeed.
In Missouri, there are more students WITHOUT the resources they need to be successful in school, then students with. This is where we come in! Powerful Purpose helps children realize their full potential, by funding experiences, tools, and resources that are vital to helping the youth of Missouri actualize their dreams.

One statistic that is in dire need of change is the fact that Missouri students aren't getting enough resources. A focus that Powerful Purpose has is to raise the bar for students in need. Applying for funding is a great way to significantly help these students. Message us for more details on how to help students at your school.

Happy World Teacher’s Day!

Teachers are incredible youth advocates who see firsthand so many of the needs of our students.

“Teaching is probably the noblest profession in the world — the most unselfish, difficult, and honorable profession, but it is also the most unappreciated, underrated, underpaid, and under-praised profession in the world.”
- Leonard Bernstein, “A Tribute to Teachers”, 1963

25 Years 💛
We will never forget the lives lost through the tragic events that happened on 9/11.

May we be the people we were on 9/12 today and always. Let’s stand up for good, believe in each other, and help make this world a better, kinder place.

Meet Daisy! 🐾 Behind every wagging tail is a powerful purpose.

An emerging body of research supports what many educators have long observed: therapy dogs and animal-assisted interventions in schools provide tangible benefits for students’ emotional and social development.

Studies show that regular interaction with therapy dogs can:
• Reduce stress and anxiety
• Help students regulate emotions
• Improve school engagement and attendance
• Foster a calm, welcoming learning environment

These impacts are especially meaningful in settings where students may be navigating anxiety, trauma, or mental health challenges.

At Powerful Purpose, we are proud to help support dogs like Daisy, who dedicate their days to creating safe, supportive spaces for learning and emotional growth. 💙

A student at St. Louis Public Schools was nominated by her youth advocate to help with some camps this summer. After attending her first one, her mom said the "camp is doing wonders to build her daughter’s confidence. She designed, made, and then modeled this dress in a camp fashion show."

Thank you for your support to help make dreams come true across Missouri this summer!
