This continues to be true and who knew almost 2 years ago that with all the fine tuning, conversation, adjusting, discussing, that time would fly by so fast! We are happy to say that we are only waiting for one more piece of paper to be able to make that huge announcement and we are already in talks with some projects! Soon to come: Meet our BOD! What's the OFFICIAL Mission statement? When is our first event? What about that website you said you were doing? and so much more! Just in time for the fall season, hot cocoa and warm sweaters - join us as we help Northern California prosper!

Every year when you harvest your crops, you let a few plants stay and go to seed so that you can use them to start the next years crops. This idea of Saving Seeds can be applied to many parts of life. While it might be tempting to harvest everything and have more the first year, planning ahead and saving seeds is our goal. With that in mind we hope to share knowledge and skills as well as bring together the community to support regional self-sufficiency!

One of our biggest goals as we get established and start working with the community is to maintain the highest level of transparency and to be the epitome of scrupulous in our operations. We want to be the place that no one would ever think that it there could ever be anything untoward with us. With that we want to thank all of the consultants and nonprofit experts we have talked with in Humboldt County and we would love to hear any feedback from you all about what you think is important!

We are staying up late working on our Bylaws and all the other things we need to get our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status! We are actually looking for a few people interested in what we are doing to join us as founding Board Members. If you think you might be interested, send us a message!

People should have the right to repair their items. Some companies intentionally plan for their items to be obsolete in a certain time frame to force customers to buy new. Support the right to repair in legislation and in your neighborhood.
